Giving Challenge 2022

Thank you to everyone who supported FANS and made our #givingchallenge2022 a huge success. The 24 hour giving event was held April 26-27, 2022. Overall, 46,216 donors helped 669 local nonprofit organizations raise $15,964,863 in just 24 hours! The entire nonprofit community is overwhelmed with your support. The Giving Challenge was hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation. FANS raised over $19,000 including donations, Patterson Foundation matching funds, Flanzer Trust matching funds and grant prizes! We are proud to announce that we won five of the six grants we applied for including Best All Volunteer Organization, Best Board Member Involvement, Best Use of Social Media, Best Giving Challenge Photo, and Best Giving Challenge 2020 Story. Additionally Farmhouse was ranked #42 on the leaderboard out of 225 small nonprofits.

The #GivingChallenge2022 hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota, is just around the corner. The 24 hour giving day is the largest in our area helping over 750 local nonprofits. We rely onPfundraisers like these to help care for the animals at the sanctuary. We are 100% volunteer run and do not receive government funding. We are hoping to raise funds during this challenge to be able to build a sick bay so that we have a safe and quiet space for any animals that may need special medical care.
